RSHE at Lonsdale
Relationship, Sex and Health Education (RSHE) is delivered through the wider PSHCE and Science curriculum at Lonsdale School. These subjects are designed to equip your child with knowledge to make informed decisions about their wellbeing, health and relationships as well as enabling pupils to learn and develop essential skills for adult life in line with the school’s values and ethos.
We believe that Relationships, Sex and Health Education are important to our pupils because:

- The RSHE curriculum promotes a positive sense of self, mental health and wellbeing regardless of age, sex, religion, race, ethnicity, culture and disability.
- They enables the pupils to transfer scientific knowledge and apply it to their health and relationships, whilst promoting self-advocacy.
