Voices of Hertfordshire

Lonsdale School are proud to a part of Voices of Hertfordshire. 

Voices of Hertfordshire is the collective name for children and young people in Hertfordshire who are involved in shaping services for those with special educational needs and / or disabilities. The groups include:

  • 4 x experts by experience who work directly with the SEND partnership to improve services and to feedback children and young peoples voice and opinions to the highest level of service leaders.
  • ICB youth council and HPFT therapy groups
  • HCC Services for Young People (SfYP) youth councils for those with SEND (1 in each district / borough)
  •  HCC SfYP Youth Projects for those with SEND (1 in each district / borough)
  • HCC Multi schools partnership in Specialist Primary and all through Schools
  • Any young person with SEND involved in the Voices of the East @voicesofthe east
  • Any young person with SEND accessing services who wishes to contribute individually via ‘This is Me’ or in a group.

 

All work, research, comments and feedback from these children and young people feeds directly into the SEND partnership for Hertfordshire to support improvement work.
